QUALITY CONTROL
Following germs should have a good to very good growth at 35 °C in 24-48 hours:
Escherichia coli ATCC 25922, Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923, Streptococcus
pneumoniae ATCC 6305, and Streptococcus pyrogenes ATCC 19615.

COMPOSITION
Casein peptone 15 g, Soymeal peptone 5 g, NaCl 5 g, Agar 15 g.
Adjust pH to 7.3, distilled water ad 1000 ml. Sterilize by autoclaving at 121 ºC for 15
minutes.
For hemolysis test add 5% sheep or bovine blood.
