Species description is based on a single isolate.
Gram-positive cocci, 1.5-2.0 μm diameter. Non-spore-forming. Non-motile.
Colonies on TSA agar are white, circular and low-convex. Good growth also occurs
on Chapman agar. Grows at 26, 37 and 42 ºC, but not at 4 ºC. Grows in the presence
of 0 and 14 % NaCl, but not 20 % NaCl.
Isolated from air sampled in a turkey house.
