Species description is based on a single isolate.
Gram-negative rods, 1.6 x 2.8 µm. Non-motile. Non‐spore-forming.
Colonies are circular, white, translucent, raised, and smooth after 24 h of incubation
at 35 ºC on nutrient agar. Growth occurs at 4-37 ºC with optimal growth at 35 and 37
ºC, but not at 45 or 50 ºC. Growth occurs at pH 5.0-10.0, optimally at pH 6.0-7.0. Cells
grows in the presence of 0-9% (w/v) NaCl. Facultatively anaerobic.
Isolated from human urine, in China.
Undetermined.
