Species description is based on a single isolate.
Gram- variable cells, motile by polar flagella. Produce round terminal spore in slightly
swollen sporangium.
Colonies on nutrient agar are white-cream, smooth and convex, 1-3 mm in diameter.
Aerobic, but no anaerobic growth. Growth temperature 30-40 ºC, optimum 30 ºC. No
growth at 4 ºC. Can grow in 2%, but not in 5% NaCl. Grow at pH 6.5-8 (optimum pH
7), but not at pH 5.7 or 9.
Isolated from the nodules of Prosopis farcta (Dwarf Mesquite) in Tunisia.
Undetermined.
