Following germs should have a good to very good growth at 35 °C in 24-48 hours: Escherichia coli (25922),
Staphylococcus aureus (25923), Streptococcus pneumoniae (6305), Streptococcus pyrogenes (19615).

Soymeal peptone ..................................................................5g

Adjust pH to 7.3, distilled water ad 1000 ml. Sterilize by autoclaving at
121 ºC for 15 minutes.
For hemolysis test add 5% sheep or bovine blood.
