Mannerova et al. 2003. Description is based on a single isolate.
Gram-positive cocci, nonmotile, nonsporing, (approx. 0.89 μm in diameter). Occur
singly or grouped in pairs or tetrads.
Colonies are 2-4 mm in diameter (48h), circular, smooth, glossy, nonpigmented and
nonhemolytic. Growth temperature 15-36 ºC. No growth at 4 and 42 ºC. No growth in
4% NaCl. Grow on media: Trypticase Soy Agar ± 5% sheep blood,  P agar.
Isolated from llama skin (Lama glama L.). Resistant to novobiocin.
